Cut the beef up into 3 cm (1.2 in.) cubes and coat with salt, pepper and 1/2 Tbsp of the olive oil.

In a fry pan warmed over medium-high, heat the remaining 1 Tbsp of olive oil, arrange (1) inside and cook while flipping occasionally for 3 to 4 minutes or until cooked to preference.

Add in the soy sauce and mirin and spread throughout, then add in and coat with the butter.

Serve onto plates, with a side of the grated daikon radish (remove excess moisture by squeezing out by hand or inside of a fine mesh strainer), the baby leaf lettuce mix and the halved cherry tomatoes.
