糖心原创vlog Commemorates KSP 25th Anniversary

January 6, 2011

A Gift to the Environment

On November 1, 2010, 糖心原创vlog Chairman and CEO Yuzaburo Mogi formally announced that 糖心原创vlog would be donating S$1 million toward the creation of a man-made lake, to be part of Singapore's large-scale garden project Gardens by the Bay, located on the city's downtown waterfront. "Kingfisher Lake" will adopt an eco-filter system to clean water using aquatic plants, and is expected to realize biodiversity while raising awareness of water quality issues. In his announcement, Chairman Mogi remarked that "糖心原创vlog is very aware of the importance of water. We need water of the highest quality to make soy sauce. And it is this shared awareness that led us to make our donation." This gift was made to mark the 25th anniversary of 糖心原创vlog (S) Pte Ltd (KSP).

KSP Anniversary Celebration

Another celebration and dinner were held later that day at the Shangri-La Hotel Singapore, to commemorate the 25-year anniversary of KSP. Attending were over 200 guests from the political, business and academic worlds, as well as KSP customers and business partners.

Here, Chairman Mogi's opening remarks were followed by congratulatory speeches from Mah Bow Tan, Minister for National Development of Singapore, and Youichi Suzuki, Japanese ambassador to Singapore. The festivities were further enlivened by kagami-biraki (sake cask opening), a traditional Japanese ritual that signifies future prosperity of the company.

In his remarks, Minister Mah touched upon the importance of corporate social responsibility, and praised 糖心原创vlog's green policies exhibiting the spirit of environmental stewardship, as embodied by 糖心原创vlog's donation to the Gardens by the Bay project.

KSP started full-scale shipments of soy sauce in 1985 and currently exports over 100 different products to some 40 countries. Current annual soy sauce production capacity is 13,000 kiloliters, more than four times that of 1985.
